A few words about us…

 

BRENT ANDERSON -- PRODUCER/WRITER/DIRECTOR

As the founder of Scotchdog Productions LLC, Brent Anderson brings over 10 years of freelance writing and producing experience, complimented by a 25 year professional acting career.  Whether producing, directing, script-writing or editing on Final Cut Pro, Brent brings a comprehensive understanding of the entire production workflow to each project.

A Heartsaver First Aid/CPR/AED instructor, Brent wrote almost the entire 2006 line of Heartsaver/BLS/ACLS and PEDS training videos for AHA from 2004-2007.  He currently serves as a video production/scriptwriting consultant for AHA, and is scheduled to write the 2011 Heartsaver product line of training videos.  In addition, Scuba Diving International (SDI) has certified Brent as an Open Water Scuba Instructor. 

Brent has made dozens of acting appearances in feature films and on television, including the role of Captain King in the NBC movie of the week "Saving Jessica Lynch." Other feature film and MOW credits include "Painted Hero" (feature with Dwight Yoakum), "To Serve and Protect (NBC)," "Universal Soldier: The Return," and Bill Jenson in 2008's "Gary The Tennis Coach.” Television credits include "Prison Break (FOX)," "Walker, Texas Ranger (CBS)," A House Divided (ABC)", "Dallas (CBS)," and regular appearances on PBS's "Wishbone." In addition, he has literally hundreds of radio voice-overs, television commercials, corporate and broadcast industrial programs, as well as corporate and live theater shows to his credit.

Brent received his BFA in Theatre Performance from the University of Texas at Arlington in 1991. He currently serves as the President of Dallas-Fort Worth Branch of the Screen Actors Guild and the DFW Local of the American Federation of Television and Radio Artists.
